The Management of Green Agriculture West Africa Limited (GAWAL) has visited the Demonstration Farm of the Centre located at Upper Benue, Liman Katagum, Bauchi Local Government.
The Management of GAWAL was led by Mr Wang Xuemin, Deputy Managing Director and Rice Irrigation Specialist, who was taken round individual staff interns’ farms and those of other farmers under the purview of the TCoEIFS, Federal Polytechnic Bauchi by the Deputy Director of the Centre Dr Aliyu Muhammad Gadam.
Mr. Wang expressed satisfaction with the level of enthusiasm by the farmers in rice farming and gave professional advice to them on how to get best yield in their farms.
GAWAL, which is an Abuja-based Chinese agro business company is one of the partners of the Centre collaborating to provide a reliable rice seeds base that is capable of meeting the demand for the commodity in the entire North East subregion of the country.
