Today being 22nd of May, 2023, the Acting Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, Dr. Dalhatu Sa’idu Abubakar has handed over the keys to the Centre’s untility vehicle to the Director, Dr. Kolawole Richard.
At the event which took place at the Polytechnic’s Central Admin Block, the Acting Rector appreciated the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) for providing the Hilux utility vehicle which he said would go a long way in facilitating the attainment of the Centre’s objectives.
Dr. Sa’idu charged the Centre to utilise the vehicle for the purpose it was provided and tasked the Director to ensure its proper maintenance for optimum performance.
Receiving the keys, Director of the TETFUND Centre of Excellence for Integrated Farming System, Dr. Kolawole Richard thanked the Management of the Polytechnic for always supporting the Centre in its quest to meet the requirements set by Fund for accessing funds to enable the Centre carry out its mandates.
Other dignitaries at the handover ceremony were the Registrar of the Institution Hajiya Rakiya Usman Maleka, Deputy Director of the Centre, Dr. Aliyu Muhammad Gadam and a host of other staff of the Centre.
